If your nationality requires a visa to enter Brazil, you can apply for it online through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

If you are a citizen of any of the Mercosur countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela), you can travel to Brazil with your national identity card, without needing to carry a passport.

The yellow fever vaccine is required for travelers arriving in Brazil from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

Brazil authorizes the entry of international tourists without the need for proof of antigen test or vaccination certificate.

MASP - Museo de Arte de São Paulo

The first modern museum in the country, founded in 1947 by Brazilian businessman Assis Chateaubriand. Between 1947 and 1990, Italian art critic and dealer Pietro Maria Bardi was invited by Chateaubriand to direct the MASP.

The museum’s first works of art were selected by Bardi and acquired through donations from local society, forming the most important European art colleciton in the southern hemisphere.

Currently, the collection holds more than 11 thousand artworks, including paintings, sculptures, objects, photographs, videos and pieces of clothing from different periods, from Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. Its architecture is one of the landmarks of São Paulo, with a bold design that uses glass and concrete, with rough, unfinished surfaces, with aspects of lightness, transparency and suspension.

The grounded-level plaza under the building’s immense free span was designed as a multipurpose public square.
